Responsibility

At J.P. Morgan, we are committed to doing business in a way that benefits our clients, employees and shareholders, and has a positive impact on the communities in which we operate around the world. Some of our recent efforts include:

Helping U.S. military veterans find jobs. As part of its ongoing effort to help veterans transition to civilian careers, employees offered career development workshops, mentoring and networking to returning service members. Team J.P. Morgan, the firm’s global employee engagement and volunteerism program, led the efforts with two non-profit partners: Wall Street Warfighters Foundation, which helps service-disabled veterans transition from active duty to careers in financial services, and Four Block, a veteran-led organization that assists student-veterans with finding internships.

Combating youth homelessness in the UK. Employees in London and Bournemouth took part in the “Centrepoint Sleep Out” to raise awareness for youth homelessness. The initiative, organized by Team J.P. Morgan, involved holiday gift donations to more than 400 residents at several Centrepoint shelters; employees will help plan career/educational workshops for the residents in coming months.

Delivering clean, safe water in Asia. The firm collaborated with two non-profits to deliver clean, safe water and provide education on water-health and hygiene to communities in six Asia-Pacific countries. The project, which received $1 million in grants from the JPMorgan Chase Foundation, aims to provide daily drinking water to 100,000 people through the deployment of special facilities called Plant Water AquaTowers.

Help us Give-It-Away
For the past six years, we have taken the money that we would spend on giveaways like free pens and donated it to a non-profit organization instead. This year, we have selected non-profit organizations from Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas to participate in our Give-It-Away campaign. We have a total of US$75,000 to donate globally – US$25,000 for one deserving local organization in each region.  The Wall Street Warfighters Foundation was the recent recipients of the U.S. donation, but voting is still open in Asia Pacific and Europe.  To decide which organization receives these donations, visitjpmorgan.com/giveitaway
