We will be introducing Quidditch, the popular sport from the world of Harry Potter. For all you die-hard Harry Potter fans, you can bring your gowns to make the experience more magical. Dear members, Easter break is almost over, and term is starting! Fret not, CUMSA has planned a Back to Term Meal to chase those beginning of term blues away. And if that isn't enough, the really exciting Sports Tea is coming up - be transported to Hogwarts for a day, as Quidditch will be introduced! J.P. Morgan has specially designed a program, Inside the Industry, for students who are interested in a career in banking and finance, and wish to find out more about working in their Asian offices. Hello CUMSA! The Ball was great fun and was sadly also the last event of the committee '11/12. Now, the new committee brings you Games Night! It is the end-of-term event that will provide everyone a chance to chill out after a hectic Lent term. This time, Games Night will not be just a congregation for board game enthusiasts. We have added a twist to the line up of programmes to include the gameshow The Price is Right; as well as our very own Presidential Pub Quiz, hosted by none other than Paul himself! Be ready for a night of wild guesses, brain teasers, and attractive prizes to be won! All are welcome! Date: 16th of March (Friday) Time: 6.45pm to 1030pm Venue: Dirac Room, St John's College Make sure you grab a bite before you come as we will only be providing light refreshments! Firstly, the National Environment Agency of Singapore will be coming to London on the 21st of April 2012 for a recruitment talk. Secondly, the Public Service Division is conducting a survey on student perceptions of careers and work life. Students can stand a chance to win US$20 Amazon vouchers. TARGETchances City law for ethnic minorities will be taking place for the ninth year on 12 & 13 and 14 & 15 June 2012. TARGETchances City law for ethnic minorities is the perfect opportunity for students to get all of their questions answered and determine whether they are suited to a career in City law. Managing Economic Trade-offs and Dilemmas in the Singapore Economy - Towards a new norm? 3.3. Hwa Chong Night
Hwa Chong Night (HCN) is an annual event that sees the largest gathering of Hwa Chongians in the UK and Europe! This year, we will be having a fun-filled evening at Piccadilly Institute, a club situated in the heart of London. Each ticket will entitle you to a forked buffet, a free drink (spirit, soft drink, cocktail, mocktail, etc) and admission to one of the most popular clubs in London! The club is exclusively ours from 5.30 - 8.00pm, so have an early dinner and spend the night mingling around and just catching up with friends dearly missed!
