Let's all gather one last time and enjoy ourselves before the examinations! This year's sport's tea is one that is not to be missed. We will be introducing Quidditch, the popular sport from the world of Harry Potter. For all you die-hard Harry Potter fans, you can bring your gowns to make the experience more magical. For the more down-to-earth folks, there will be football and frisbee. We will also be cooking Hainanese Chicken rice.

2. Ichiro: 15% Discount

We are proud to announce that CUMSA members are now entitled to a  15% discount at   Ichiro!   Ichiro  is a Japanese and Malaysian restaurant that serves bento boxes, sushi, ramen, as well as authentic Malaysian dishes. The discount applies for dine-in only. Cash is preferred.

Easter break is almost over, and term is starting! Fret not, CUMSA has planned a Back to Term Meal to chase those beginning of term blues away. HANAMI EXHIBITION

A showcase of extraordinary works by local and international artists, all inspired by Japan. A variety of goods will be on sale, from manga to Japanese fashion, and interactive workshops from 'kimono dressing' to 'how to draw yourself in manga' will be running throughout the day.

Contact Singapore has launched a new campaign called Where Are We SG (WAWSG). 2.3. J.P. Morgan: Inside the Industry

J.P. Morgan has specially designed a program, Inside the Industry, for students who are interested in a career in banking and finance, and wish to find out more about working in their Asian offices. Join them to learn more about the possibilities and explore how you could fit in.

You will be introduced to their different business areas and learn from their industry leaders. The program will allow you to develop your skills through workshops, as well as network with their teams. They are looking for an elite group of students graduating in 2014 or 2015 who will make the most of the program.

1. CUMSA Games Night

Hello CUMSA! The Ball was great fun and was sadly also the last event of the committee '11/12. Now, the new committee brings you Games Night! It is the end-of-term event that will provide everyone a chance to chill out after a hectic Lent term.

This time, Games Night will not be just a congregation for board game enthusiasts. We have added a twist to the line up of programmes to include the gameshow The Price is Right; as well as our very own Presidential Pub Quiz, hosted by none other than Paul himself! Be ready for a night of wild guesses, brain teasers, and attractive prizes to be won! All are welcome!

2. Easter Day Trip

Managing Economic Trade-offs and Dilemmas in the Singapore Economy - Towards a new norm?

The Singapore Economy has undergone a remarkable transformation over the last 30 years, supported by sound and prudent economic policies. As Singapore enters a new age of development, economic choices by the government will be increasingly difficult. What is the optimal population size and composition? Is higher productivity the ultimate panacea? How can the economy best cater to the aspirations of Singaporeans going forward?

Join Kuan Ming Leong, senior economist with the Ministry of Trade and Industry, as he shares on Singapore's economy and discusses trade-offs in economic policy formulation. There will be ample time for questions and dialogue.

About the speaker:
Kuan Ming Leong is a senior economist in the Singapore Government's Economist Service. Over the past six years, he has held various portfolios in the Civil Service that span economic policies relating to medium-term economic growth, industrial development, urban planning, demographics, and economic engagement strategies.

3.3. Hwa Chong Night

Hwa Chong Night (HCN) is an annual event that sees the largest gathering of Hwa Chongians in the UK and Europe! This year, we will be having a fun-filled evening at Piccadilly Institute, a club situated in the heart of London. Each ticket will entitle you to a forked buffet, a free drink (spirit, soft drink, cocktail, mocktail, etc) and admission to one of the most popular clubs in London!  

The club is exclusively ours from 5.30 - 8.00pm, so have an early dinner and spend the night mingling around and just catching up with friends dearly missed! (: Just to clarify, we're only hosting the event at the club, it's not a clubbing event; not until the after-party!  

The dinner ends at 8pm but feel free to stay as long as you wish, as the VIP area will be opened exclusively for us from 8pm to 3am. So dance the night away once the club opens proper from 10pm onwards!
